I recently made a major overhaul to the site’s design, and added some functionality and content along with it.

Website Redesign

It started off with just wanting to design the fight panel a bit more, and add better usability. I ended up really liking the aesthetics of the fight panel, and worked to make that a side-wide change. I know the original font sizes were too small, and the font colors were too faded/low contrast, but I’ve updated both and hopefully its easy to read for everyone.

Features

I added a few new things to hopefully make it easier to interact with the game. The biggest one I think is the new quick actions menu at the bottom of the screen.

Quick Actions Menu

The blue chevron icon at the bottom of the screen is how you access the menu:

Menu Access

You can click/press the icon, or on phones you can do a swipe up gesture (you can also swipe down on phones to minimize it) to access the menu.

The menu is also somewhat customizable, you can long press/click an icon and drag it to re-order them, and it should save it to your account and load in that order every time.

Draggable Windows

You can now grab the “title bar” of the windows to move them around:

It doesn’t have a ton of practical use yet, but its nice to have the option. I’ve been thinking about making it so that you have to click the X/close button on the windows to close them (no more clicking outside the window to close it), and allowing interaction between windows when multiple are open. But I wasn’t sure how useful that would be, and it might make it more annoying to close windows.

New Content

The big one here is the new gathering and crafting mechanics. It’s pretty basic for now, but I’m planning on adding more and more skills and recipes. Expect things like more foods with various buffs, and upgrading items like armor and weapons.

Easier Resource Gathering

Life Skills

For those interested, in South City and Kaiojin Town I’ve added kitchens, with an NPC who teaches Gathering I for 1 zenni. Gathering I allows you to see resource nodes on all visible tiles. The new skills for gathering, cooking, etc. (Life Skills) do not count towards your ability limit.

Quests

I’ve added NPCs to all major cities/towns that act as bulletin boards for repeatable quests, plus one big quest for high level rewards (usually at least a Sensu Bean).

Feedback

Any feedback at all is useful! If you like something, hate something, somewhere in between, or if you have an idea, I’m all ears. Just leave it in Discord or the forum.
